AccommodationFor the participants of the conference accommodation is reserved at the residence of the Centre for Advanced Academic Studies (CAAS), the CAAS Dormitory. CAAS Dormitory is situated in the same building in which the IPSA (RC 32) Conference 2011 is taking place.
CAAS is located in the very heart of Dubrovnik, less then five-minute walk from the Old City. Everything you need is within walking distance: shops, banks, restaurants, beaches, bus station, taxi stand, etc. The address is: Don Frana Bulica 4.
The CAAS Dormitory has the capacity of 24 single and 16 double rooms (each with bathroom, air conditioning, phone and Internet). Rooms are all non-smoking. The whole capacity is reserved for speakers and participants of the Conference for the period 09 – 12 June 2011. Should any speakers or participants wish to arive to Dubrovnik a day earlier, on 8 July, there is a capacity for 35 persons in single or double rooms. All reserved rooms will be avaiable until Sunday 12 June at 12 am, which is the check-out deadline.
The price of accommodation: • a night in a single room is 48 Eur • a night in a double room per person is 36 Eur • a night in a double room to be booked by one preson is 60 Eur This price does not include the breakfast which the Dormitory is also offering at the price of approximately 4 Eur (30,00 KN) .
No participant has to contact CAAS Dormitory personally. After the deadline for registration expires, for all invited speakers who ticked the 'Accommodation' checkbox in their Invited speakers registration form, the room reservation at the Dormitory will be confirmed. Upon the registration deadilne, the Secretary of the conference, in cooperation with the Dormitory manager, will start arranging the rooming list.

If those invited participants who will not be presentig papers at the Conference – and therefore will not be filling the Invited speakers registration form – wish to reserve the room at the Dormitory, they should contact the Secretary of the conference directly via email. The final deadline for confimation of room reservation is 15 May 2011.
In conclusion, there is no need to undertake the payment of accommodation any earlier than at the post, upon arrival or during check-out at the Dormitory. As requested by the Dormitory staff, payment should be made in local currency only. ![]() |
